Power Grid France/Italy Expansion, Board Game Expansion
The Power Grid France/Italy Expansion is a compelling add-on requiring the base game Power Grid or Power Grid: Recharged to play. This expansion introduces two distinct maps—France and Italy—each offering unique strategic challenges. France emphasizes nuclear power with an early uranium supply and atomic plants, featuring Paris as a high-demand triple city that adds risk and reward dynamics. In contrast, Italy presents a resource-scarce environment with limited coal and oil supplies and elevated connection costs, encouraging players to adapt rapidly to fluctuating markets. Together, these maps enrich gameplay with regional diversity and fresh tactical considerations.
